Organization: Setup grid same as before (15x30yd, adjust as necessary). Players should work in groups small enough so no standing in line (ex.3-5)
Instructions: Players dribble toward midpoint, perform a Ronaldo chop, and then progress toward end line. Brief rest walking across endline and then repeat unopposed activity back down opposite side of rectangle.
Coaching Points: Visualize timing of chop to beat defender (use defender's momentum against them like in tag warm-up. During chop, get low (bent knees) so as to quickly transition direction and explode out of move. Finish with pace toward endline.
While it's important to have speed going into the chop, for developing players, they should take the move slowly at first to develop the technique before increasing aggressiveness.
Progressions: P - reverse direction to ensure reps with opposite foot
R - if too complex, work stationary - place ball ~2ft in front of player and perform chop from standing position
See next for semi/fully opposed reps

Organization: Same dimensions (~15x30yd) Small groups of 3-5, two lines
Instructions: Semi-opposed - A passes to B, B passes to A and play begins with A seeking to beat B to the endline. B seeks to mirror/delay A, but not tackle so A can gain reps timing movement of the Chop. Coach should adjust start point of B so that B beats A to the sideline forcing a chop.
Fully-opposed - Same sequencing to start, though now B is live.
Coaching Points: Semi-opposed - 1) timing of the chop, 2) use defenders momentum against them, 3) get low in order to quickly change direction and explode out of move
Fully-opposed - Decision on whether to beat defender straight to end line or use a chop.
Progressions: P - play to mini-goal

Organization: SSG 3v3 or 4v4
Instructions: Award extra points for use of a chop. Perhaps create a conditon where all offensive players must move into offensive half thereby creating opportunities for rush/chop situations on the counterattack
Coaching Points: Identification of scenarios for use of Chop, timing of the movement, getting low and exploding out of the move.
Progressions: Move to finish with a game of street soccer

Warm up (15 mins)
Organization: 15x30yd rectangle. Two lines A & B
Instructions: Player A is offense with pinnie tucked in back of pants as a tail. A's goal is to reach the end line before defender (B) can pull pinnie out. Play starts on defenders first move.
Coaching Points: A needs to read/react to defenders pace/line of retreat. Straight-line is shortest path to goal, but if B beats A, then A needs to reach by getting low and timing a cut-back to get behind B and cross finish line at different point.
