Objective -
To use the correct blocking/foot save technique in a simulated scenario.
Description -
GK1 will move into a position to block the near range strike on goal from Coach. Players will rotate through continuously before progression 1 (see below)
Organization -
18 Yard Box
1x Large Goal
12x Balls
Coaching Points -
Micro movements with feet, balance, drop levels, body weight forwards, chest over the ball.
Progression -
GK1 will make the block save and have a 2nd action as GK2 drops the ball on the ground and they must dive at GK2's feet and smother/block the ball.

Objective -
Introduce decision making along with reacting to the ball & attacker.
Description -
Coach will passthe ball to GK2 (Centre) who will make a decision to either turn on the balland attack GK1's goal,
or play a firsttime strike toward GK3 & GK4's small goals. Players must track the ballfrom the original pass and
get in line forthe strike. Rotate throughafter 6 for each keeper working in large goal.

Objective -
Increased decision making, reacting to the ball & attacker, re-align for near post strike.
Description -
Coach will have 4 options.
1 - Strike directly on goal
2 - Play pass in to GK2 to turn toward GK1 or GK2 may strike a first time ball toward GK3
3 - Play pass to feet of GK4 to take touch and strike on goal
4 - Play through ball in front of mannequin for GK4 to attack and GK1 to intercept or block.
Rotate after 6 for each keeper, switch sides for small goal and mannequin.
