Pressure, Cover, Balance Game
Equip - balls, cones, bibs, goals.
Duration 15 minutes
To encourage defending as a group, Pressuring the ball when it comes to your lane, 1 to 1 defending, stealing, intercepting the ball, and transitioning to the attack.
Focus On Transioning to defense as a unit.
Teams on the outside are attacking and score points by passing through the defensive line. Defending team tries to steal or intercept the ball and make a successful pass to the team that did not give the ball away.
Ex. When White loses the ball to Blue, and Blue makes a successful pass to yellow, White then defends in between blue and yellow. Or, if white loses possession by kicking out of bounds then white defends yellow (Ball is played in by the coach quickly.)
Conditions: Progression: Limit the number of passes between the same colors, "Press two always"
