SSP 1 - Double Rondo (30 mins)

  • Activity Organization: Based on numbers of the group; group will play a 4v2/5v2 Rondo. Group in PM will look into getting into the next rondo grid. After they completed the first task, they will try to go back to the original grid.
  • Game Like Reference: To recreate the habit of traveling as a team from one space to the next. 
  • Meaningful Repetition Looking For (Mutual Zone):
    • Speed of support the player with the ball.
    • Position that can help create a solution.
    • Triangulation around the opposition while traveling to a next space.
  • Challenging (Constraints/Variation):
    • Adjusting the size of the rondo grid.
    • Adjusting the number defender's
    • Point system for certain MZ habits
  • Teaching/Coaching Intervention:
    • Challenge group to SHOW what it mean's too...
      • Travel as a team
      • Position themselves to create advantages (+1 Rule)
    • Pause the activity for a moment of when they accomplish the idea's the present and look for a moment that could help them collectively.

  • Meaningful Repetition Looking For (Mutual Zone+Co-Operative Zone):
    • Speed of support the player with the ball.
    • Position that can help create a solution.
    • Understanding how to create/identify advantages.
  • Challenging (Constraints/Variation):
    • How to score in the 'End Zone'
      • Through Passing
      • Through Dribbling
      • Through Passing Combination
      • Through Dribbling + Passing

      • 2 Passes to score = Create quick advantages
      • 3 Passes to score = Create opportunities for player's to understand how to 'triangulate'
