Organization:
-Set cones in circle, about 15 yds diamater (adjust to players ability)
-Split into 2 teams: passers and receivers
Instructions:
-Six servers start at equal distances apart on edge of circle, each with a ball. Six receivers inside circle.
-Receivers control a pass from a server, then pass it back to where it came from
-Receivers then rotate (clock/counterclockwise) and repeat until they've come back to original partner
-Switch roles
Coaching points:
-When receivers trap ball, can they push it slightly out ahead to setup next pass?
-Call for the ball
Progression:
-Receivers take a pass from one server, but pass back to a different server (coach decides to left or right)
-Receivers then rotate as before and repeat until they've come back to original partner. Switch roles

Organization:
-Put players in pairs with a ball. Each stands in a triangle and has two touches on the ball - one to control and the other to pass
Instructions:
-With each controlling touch, players move the ball from one side of the triangle to the other
-Each time they touch the ball through their triangle, they get 1 point.
-After a set time, switch the direction of the drill so they have to use other foot
Coaching Points:
-Pointing hips and toes of standing foot to target for more accurate passing
-how can you get more points? (accurate passes, good first touch just outside of triangle)
-Adjust distance between passers based off ability. Start closer in

-Split into 2 teams, blue attacker starts with ball. Each team must stay on their half of the line
-One team (attacking) tries to juke/beat the defending team across by dribbling to the outside and passing to goal. If they do= 1point
-Defending team tries to copy/stick with attacking team and stop them from shooting. If they do = 1 point
-Players must get to end of cone before shooting on goal
-Switch after every player has gone

Hungry Hippos (15 mins)
Hungry Hippos:
- 4 teams (each pugg goal is a hippo)
- Pile of soccer balls in center is the hippo food
- 1 player from each team runs out to center, performs a pull back, dribbles ball back to and passes to scores in their goal
- Next player goes and repeats process (must wait until their partner scores before next player can go)
- Team with the most soccer balls in their goal wins
Coaching points:
- Size of touch (smaller as you get closer to goal)
- Score with inside of foot for accuracy (if you shoot and miss, it takes up more time and you lose the race)
Progression:
- Introduce different turns (L-turns, Cruyff turn, etc...)
