ABC'S (Agility / Balance / Coordination)
Players use different movement around the grid without the soccer ball (jogging/ bounding/hopping etc)
- Transformer Tag
- Pinnie tag
- Cone touches
- Variety of movements

Relay Races
1 player at a time will work through the cones and run to the end point and collect a pinnie and then take it back to their team (no more than 3 per team)
Add hurdles / hops / backwards running etc
1st round without ball
Progressions
Add a ball and have dribbling in ad out of cones / straight sprint
Add a goal at the end to shoot in.
Add variety of different tasks (ball in and out of cones / straight dribble etc)
The team who collects the most pinnies in 90 secs wins.
Coaching points:
- Head Up
- Use of variety of surfaces
- Keep ball close (use of small touches)

Shooting Wars
2 players stand opposite each other (20 yards between shooters) and a GK stands in goal in between them. 1 attacker strikes at goal and tries to score; the opposite striker then gets the ball and tries to score.
Progressions:
- Strike a rolling ball after touch
- Skill Move then shot
PLAY THIS IN A COMPETITION LADDER (3x 45 second rounds and then decide the winner) 2 winners move up and player with the least point stays in area (unless final where 2 move to start)

Ball Mastery (technical corridor) (15 mins)
Running with the ball (technical)
Groups of 3. 2 on one end and 1 opposite.
Player with ball works through the "corridor" and then takes ball to the opposite player who does the same. A variety of different conditions apply:
1. Dribble - turn - dribble - turn - dribble to end line
2. Side to side dribbling
3. Side to side dribbling using outside x3 and inside
4. Touch the sides of the corridor 3 times before going to endline (with and without ball)
5. Skill move in the middle box
6. Skill move past the cone / ball (with and without ball)

- Body position
- Head Up
- Short, sharp turns
