Session Organisation
How to Play - 3 teams of 5 set up as shown. The yellow on the pitch plays as a floater. Blues keep possession until they can play into a corner player. He then plays to opposite colour.
Progressions - team keep possession after playing to corner player.
Tech/Tact Focus - passing &receiving. Pressing.
Physical Focus - further warm up practice. Control the intensity. Add im more stretches if required.
Social Focus - small group work.
Psychological Focus - preparation.

Team Learning Objectives - trying to develop a basic understanding between 2 forwards who have never played together.
Session Organisation - set up as shown.
How to Play - 1 striker comes towards the ball. Play to higher striker, who sets & spins between full back and centre back.
Progressions - other options include;
1. Set back to midfield player who plays wide for a cross.
2. Instead of deeper striker playing in his partner, he slides in the wide player between CB & FB. (Shown on next screen)
Tech/Tact Focus - timing and direction of runs. Low, fast crosses.
Physical Focus - game realistic movements.
Social Focus - developing an understanding. Building a partnership.

Team Learning Objectives - develop an understanding of the system with 2 new players
Session Organisation - the start of the session has the keeper and back 7 that will start the game (red team). The blues have 3 midfield players plus the front 3 that will start the game tomorrow. the midfield 3 will swap teams half way through the session. Green line is an offside line.
How to Play - spoke about changing our style to combat an expected heavy pitch. Play into strikers quickly and early then support from deep midfield positions (Tuesday's session).
Progressions - n/a

Warm Up 1 (15 mins)
Team Learning Objectives - match preparation as we have a couple of players not worked with us before.
Session Organisation - first part of the session after the warm up the majority of the players are working with a coach prepping for UEFA B so I did a finishing session with forwards & 2 MF players.
How to Play - Warm Up 1- all players work in pairs (17 players). Shown with reduced numbers for clarity. One player is server and 1 is working in each pair. 1 minute on 1 minute off. Dynamics in between.
Progressions
1. Short pass, left foot, right foot then find another server.
2. Ball served by hand at knee height outside the body line, inside foot volley/left & right.
3. Ball served by hand for a half volley behind standing leg, left foot, right foot.
4. Ball served by hand at waist height outside the body line, play back to server from the middle of the thich, left side, right side.
5. Ball served by hand to chest control and half volley back to server along the ground.
6. 2 headers - low serve for a standing header back to server, run forward tap the ball in server's hands then back off for a jump header.
