For this week players will be introduced to several change of direction skill moves. It is essential for each player to have skill set when engaged in pressure. Players will be guided on the technical breakdown of each move and when to utilize a change of direction move in order to penetrate space.

Repetitions
1. players in each channel will set off from both sides and perform a turn/change of direction x2 with both feet
2. Coach will vary the turn/change of direction skill after a set of repetitions
3. players must penetrate either left or right gate (based on skill) and rotate to opposite side
Full Opposed
1. Defender will dribble towards to the middle then play a pass to the attacker
2. Attacker will a gain point if they can unbalance defender and penetrate to one of the gates
3. if defender wins ball they must penetrate to attacker's end zone

Organization

-split the team in 2 teams (defenders and attackers)

Instructions
1.Defense starts by passing over to the player the attacking team
2.Players then go 1v1 with either player able to score in either goal.
3.Keep playing until a goal is scored or the ball goes out and then repeat with the
next two players
4.Players can only shoot once they are between
the goal and the red cones (Shooting zone).
5. Swap over attackers and defenders after a couple rounds

- Quality of first touch (Direction - towards goal, Weight)
-Positive first touch (receive with inside,V shape)
- Awareness of defender's position
- Be positive, attack goal if possible
- Decision, Turn or Stop start to lose the defender
- Protect the ball with your body at all times
- Finish (use a prep touch before shooting)

Instructions
Foundation 1: Individual Possession
1. Players will dribble around the field using different dribbling techniques
demonstrate and guide the player through the following selection
MESS/LLOYD dribble: head up using the pinky toe (laces) taking small touches quick touches
RONALDO/MORGAN dribble: head up to recognize a lot of space in front of you accelerate with a big touch to attack space
INIESTA/PUGH dribble: head up to recognize small tight spaces using the outside/inside surfaces of the foot to maneuver around using both feet
Introduce and demonstrate players to the following skill moves every week introduce 1 or 2 new skills to practice on
- V turn, L Turn, U turn, Double Scissors, Step Overs, Ronaldo Chop, Maradona, Elastico,Cryuff Turn, the Okocha, Stop starts, Inside Outside, Sole Roll, Feints,
Foundation 2: Defensive Pressure (30 second rounds)
1.The coach will now select 3-4 players to be defenders and put
them in pinnies
2.when the coach says GO! the two players must try to steal
other players balls and transition to goal, once they score they will try to steal more balls off other players in the grid.
3. if the players dribbling the ball can protect it for 30 seconds they will receive a point at the end of the round.
4. change the two defenders every two rounds.
Foundation 3: First Touch
1) Players inside the grid will dribble towards the middle square performing a skill at coaches demand
2) Limited amount of players will be in a ready position ready to receive a pass and use their space to penetrate space inside the grind
3) Players will continue to rotate roles
4) Make it a competition to see which players can the most positive first touches inside the grid for a minute
5) PG add 2 defenders to protect the square and if they suceed they can score in any desired pug goal.
