Goalkeepers to be involved all session with E1a consisting of the GK's and first X1 attackers and midfielder options.
All other players to operate with Ben and Finn in E1b and E1c.
Depending on numbers all to be involved in E2. If large amount of players set up an additional SSG for spare players.

Time: 15 Minutes
Set Up:
-30x30 grid or 25x25.
-Split players into 3 even groups.
-2 teams inside and 1 outside as common players.
Exercise:
-Coach serves ball into area.
-Team who gains possession looks to keep the ball using their teammates and the common players on the outside.
-Teams score by playing consecutive passes. 3 then 5 then 7 then 10.
-Play 3x4 minute spells switching teams over so all face each other and also play common player role.
Key Points:
-Movement off at angles into space.
-Decision making when making passes.

Time: 15 Minutes
Set Up:
-Set up as previous with addition of a goal each end and split pitch in half and extend by 10 to make 40x30.
-Place 2 common players inside the grid. 1 on each side and they only in those sides.
Exercise:
-Same as previous but this time teams looks to score in opponents goal.
-Common players can score.

Time: 30 Minutes
Set Up:
-3/4 pitch.
-3 mini goals opposite main goal in opposite half.
-Split players in to 2 teams.
-Red: 4-3-1
-Blue: 2-3-3
Exercise:
-Play 3x8 minute spells under modified match rules.
-Blue team only can get caught offside.
-Blue team can only have corners.
-Red team can score in any of the 3 opposition goals.
Key Points:
-Players work in match style SSG focus on positional play and the application of the E1a drill.

E1a: Attacking Finishing Drill (30 mins)
Time: 30 Minutes
Set Up:
-Work in half pitch.
-Set mannequins or poles in opposition player positions.
-Split players into player positions as illustrated above with any spare players off the playing area.
Exercise:
-The players will pass and move into attacking area with a designated final pass then attempt on goal.
-Play several sequences switching the spare players after every 5 plays.
-Sequence 1: DMC-MCL-MCR-space between CB & FB-WR cross for CF/WL/MC to score. Next play opposite direction (go right to left).
-All players move out of possession also as if moving to receive the ball.
-Sequence 2: DMC-CF-WL-MCL make run into gap between RB &CB then shoot for goal. CF and WR move in for follow up. Switch play then for right side.
-Sequence 3: DMC-MCL-CF-MCR-WL makes a run inside the RB and shoots for goal. CF and RW move for rebound. Switch to right side alternatively.
-Sequence 4: DMC-WL-MCL-WR-MCR-CF-DMC make forward run-MCL cover DMC run-DMC shoot for goal.
Key Points:
-Players out of possession must continue to move to make an angle for a pass regardless of not being involved in possession during a play.
