Organization:
3 cones ~ 5 yards apart. The outside cones are 2x2 yd squares.
Players are set up in teams of 3 (extra players are added to the outside positions).
Middle player stands behind the middle cone. Outside players stand behind the outside boxes. Each player facing the coach.
Middle player has a soccer ball.
Instructions:
Each team starts out with 3 points.
Coach will call out players' "right" or "left." Middle player has to dribble ALL THE WAY THROUGH the box and turn back into the box. Once their ball is back in the box, the player that is waiting behind the box will dribble it out of the box, back toward the middle, and try to be the first to stop it at their middle cone.
The last team to stop their ball in the middle loses a point.
The last team with points remaining is the winner.
Coaching Points:
- Quick reaction.
- Entry - quality of touch - bigger touch to get to the cone ASAP or smaller touches to ensure control and quick turn as soon as cone is reached.
- Execution - technique for specific turn.
- Exit - set up ball for outside player to take over.
Progressions:
- Coach uses different cues e.g. right/left, new (right)/york (left), red (right)/bulls (left).
- Coach uses oppsite cues e.g. if they say right then players must go left.
- Players must turn with a specific turn (Cruyff, U-turn, etc.) or surface (Inside, outside, sole, etc.)
- Inside player starts seated, one knee, etc.
- Winning team gets to pick the next starting position for outside players.

Learning Outcomes:
-Different styles of dribbling. Ronaldo vs Messi touches, why.
-Accelerate after turning.
-Get the ball moving in the direction of your bank.
Organization:
-12 Players
-8 red cones, 8 yellow cones, 4 blue cones.
-Two teams of 6 players split in two branches.
-16 soccer balls
-Each bank (5x5) - Overall city (grid 30x30)
Instructions:
-Players are part of the 4 largest banks in the city.
-They want to be the largest bank.
-Attempt to rob money (balls) from bank of different color and bring back to your bank.
-One player at a time until all the money is gone from the middle.
-Each ball = 1 Trillion dollars - bank with the most money at the end of the round (1min) wins.
Coaching Points:
-1st touch when dribbling long (2-3 steps)
-Follow 1st touch by quick short touches
-Use Laces & Outside to speed dribble
-While dribbling in traffic, be aware of surroundings
-Dribble looking forward (see ball + space)
-Attempt feint or single scissors when in trouble
Progression:
1. Once all the ball are out of the middle all players a allowed to rob the other team's bank until expires. You are not allowed to defend your bank and you can only steal one ball at a time.
2. Add a policeman to catch the robbers. If they are caught they must go to jail. If you are caught - 1 time: warning, 2 times: you will go to jail. Play for 2 minutes.
-Play with 4 different teams.
Regression:
-Make bank bigger.
-One player at a time can steal.

-Ability to identify when to turn based on the quality of the pressure.
-Understanding which kind of turn to use to protect the ball while turning based on the pressure.
Organization:
-8 red cones, 2 mini goals.
-Two teams in line. Coach in the middle.
-All soccer balls behind coach.
-Mini goals facing away as seen above.
Instructions:
-Coach passes the ball through the middle. One the pass, the next player from each team race and play 1v1.
-First player to score gets a goal for their team. Players can score in either goal.
-Play for 30 seconds (coaches discretion) or until the ball goes out or a goal is scored.
-First team to "x" based on quality of the players. Switch sides each round.
Coaching Points:
-Reaction off the line to get body position in front of your opponent.
-Positive first touch to get to goal quickly.
-Carry the ball on the foot furtherst from the defender to protect.
-Use of a turn to lose the defender.
-Quality of turn.
Progressions:
-Numbers Game: Each player on the team has a number. Coach calls a number(s) and game continues as before.
-Players start in different positions: Sitting, laying down, hopping, eyes closed, etc.
-Ball is chipped in by coach.
Regressions:
-First player to touch the ball gets and advantage: The player with out the ball must touch one of the goals before they can defend.
-Team that gets scored on get the ball played towards them. If no one scored in previous 1v1 ball starts down the middle.

Learning Outcomes:
-Awarness and understanding where the goals you can score on are (spacial awareness).
-Understanding with turn to use to protect the ball or not.
-Promoted decision making. Players must decider which team to attack based on how many lives they have.
-Situational awaeness. If your team only has one life do you play more defensive and protect your goal or try to attack and beat the other teams?
Organization:
-8 red cones, 4 mini goals, pinnies.
-Playing area size dependant on player's abilities. (Smaller - more difficult)
-4 Teams, 4 mini goals in corners.
-Coach has all the soccer balls.
Instructions:
-Each team starts with 3 lives. If a goal is socred in their goal they lose a life. Once all three lives are lost they flip their goals and can not win the game anymore but they still play. Last team with lives left wins.
-Coach (master splinter) passes a ball in the middle. One player from each team play 1v1v1v1. After a goal is scored or the ball goes out of play 4 new player come on.
Coaching Points:
-Which turn can you use to protect the ball while turning.
-Can you trick the other players by drawing them in to one area then turning out to a different goal.
-Desguise using eyes, body shape.
Progressions:
-Make playing area smaller.
-Add neutral in the middle. If you combine with the neutral and score your team get one more life.
Regression:
-Play 1v1 alternating teams.
-Play with 2 or 3 teams.
