Screen 1 (60 mins)
Goalkeeper Speed and Agility
1 Goalkeeper moves through ladders facing server. Latteral movement receives ball from serevr. Volleyed serve. Then move back the other way through the ladder to receive ball again. 3 serves in each direction. 3 sets
2. Goalkeeper starts on a middle cone. With 2 feet on the floor. They then hop out to a outside cone holding their landing on one foot. Then hop back into the middle landing on two feet. Then hop to the other side to land on one foot.Continue to work your way up the cones. 3 sets.
3.Goalkeeper receives volley. Flat discs are numbered 1 to 3 . They then side step into the numbered disc called from the serever and hold there on one foot. (left foot when moving left and vice versa). Back into the middle and receive a volley and go the opposite way. Receive 6 volleys. 3 sets.
4 Same as exercise 3 but on return they finish with a low diving save from a side footed serve. 6 reps with 3 sets.
5 Move through the hurdles laterally putting one foot then the other over the hurdles then coming back through with the same movement in the opposite direction. 6 reps x 3 sets
6 Same movement as exercise 5 but once they get to the end of the hurdles in one direction a thrown serve into a high diving save. They then return to starting to position. 3 each side. 3 sets.
7. Server serves the first shot into a low diving save to the right. As the goalkeeper saves it the server then gives a high diving save to the left. Goalkeeper then return to the centre of the goal gets set and the drill starts sgain. Reps two working each side so a total of 4 double saves. 3 sets
