Problem 2 - Side of the diamond being pinned and too far away to affect the FB
Solution 2 - Full back to full back
RB - Ready to jump when the cb passes it, cannot allow the line ball
RCB - to jump onto the winger who rolls inside
LCB comes across and marks the 9 goalside marking the space in behind
LB - comes more central to cover the cb, leaving the winger free
CDM - Screening the central passes into the 9
3 other midfielders are man to man
2 Strikers - Start on the edge of the box and take the two CB's - force one way

Problem 3 - We have decided to press high, so the opposition are going more direct into the 9
Solution - Put one cb slightly in front of the 9 and one slightly behind.
2 strikers - start wide and prevent balls from the centre back into the full backs
10 - play ball side on the CDM to encourage them to go long
Sides of the diamond - outside shoudler of the cm's, ready to press the fb's if the opposition clip a ball over the striker, but also ready to make recovery runs to get goalside
CDM - central and ready to press either way if the team play out, but there to protect and balls into the 9
Fb's - Inside the opposition winger, ready to defend the space in behind
CB's - one slightly in front to prevent any passes into feet or the chest, one slightly behind ready to defend the space behind
What if the blue team get out through the full backs?
Wide of the diamond to jump and everyone shuffles across and show line

CDM - Start more as a screen, but as the side of the diamond jumps, the CDM will now have to jump onto the blue midfielder
Rb - Takes the winger and marks channel side to stop any balls being threaded down the line
Rcb - tight enough the 9 but also marking the space in behind incase the ball is played over the top
Lcb - Also close the 9 and also preparing to mark the space in behind - if the 9 drops in, nearest Cb to follow.
