5 v 2 w/ 1-2 pressing
Attacking team pass and move with their ball while 2 defenders complete 6 passes in their grid. Upon completing 6 passes, 1 of the defenders plays a ball into the 5 attackers and then 1 defender goes to press and win the ball from the 5. Upon doing so, defender goes back to their grid and completes another 6 passes...and so on.
Teams have 2 mins to win the ball as many times as possible
Progression : 2 defenders go to press
Coaching points:
- Work-rate to put the attackers under pressure
- Constant press in the first 6 seconds
- Show attackers one way
- Decision making of when to win ball

4 + 4 v 4
Outside players and attacking players on the inside try to keep the ball away from the defending team. The defending team try to win the ball as many times as possible in 2 mins. They get 2 points if they complete1 pass upon winning the ball. The get 3 points if they dribble out of the grid.

- Press as a team
- Make play predictable
- Make the field compact
- Triggers of when to press

1 v 1 to endzone (10 mins)
1 v 1 to endzone
Defending player passes ball into attacker and then applies pressure to the ball. The player on the ball tries to dribble and stop the ball in the endzone. If the defender wins the ball, they try and break into the opponents endzone.
-2 minute rounds then switch roles
Coaching points:
- Apply pressure as early as possible
- Cover the space fast
- Slow don upon approach (small steps)
- Decision making on when to commit
- Show the attacker one side
