The players will begin by warming up with resistance bands and completing a short activation warm-up. This activation warm-up will consist of side steps, zig-zag walks, straight leg kicks, sidewards leg kicks and backward leg kicks. Then, to finish off, the players will complete two 18 yard sprints (sprint - 5 second rest - sprint). This allows each players heart rate rise and also prepare them for any possible running or fast movement that may occur during the session. This is important for players to complete as it ensures that each player has warmed up the correct muscle groups in order to perform well and with quality for the duration of the session. This section of the warm-up will last 5 minutes.

The second part of the warm-up is a 6v2 rondo. The players are each on one touch and must complete 20 passes against the 2 players in the middle to give them a forfeit. If the ball is lost, then the player who gives the ball away, and the man to their right go in the middle, and the pass total starts over again. This is important for the players to complete as it allows players to get used to the ball and prepare for the training session well, instead of going into the first part of the technical exercise without a correct ball warm-up, and potentially being below standard and making the session slower. This is also a very good warm-up for the players morale and allows a focus on the social side of the session, which is beneficial for a player as it ensures they don't go into the session feeling down or demotivated.. This section will last for 5 minutes.
