Building from the Back Under Pressure (1 Attacker)

  • Exercise 1 – Pre-Match Warm-Up (7-a-side)
  • Game Concepts: Full-body activation to prepare players physically and mentally for game-related tasks.
  • Technical: Short passing, close control, dribbling in tight spaces, oriented first touch.
  • Tactical: Space awareness, short support play, body orientation.
  • Description: Rondo + technical circuit including passing in pairs or small groups, mobility exercises, and dynamic movements with the ball.
  • Organization: 2 groups of 5-6 players, 20x20 meter grid, cones and balls.
  • Sets: 3 blocks of 4 minutes with 1-minute rest.
  • Variants: Add passive pressure, limit number of touches, or change direction after each pass.
  •  Building from the Back Under Pressure (1 Attacker)
  • Game Concepts: Structured build-up from zone 1, using the goalkeeper as support.
  • Technical: Short passing, control under pressure, wall passes, proper body positioning.
  • Tactical: Triangle formations, using the holding midfielder as a pivot, breaking the first line of pressure.
  • Description:
  • 2 defenders and the goalkeeper start in the defensive area.
  • 1 holding midfielder is placed in a restricted central zone and cannot leave it.
  • 1 attacker presses high.
  • The team must build up and score in one of the small goals located near the halfway line on the wings.
  • Goals only count if the team crosses the designated line (touchline to touchline).
  • The midfielder can only pass backwards and is limited to 2 touches.
  • Organization: 7-a-side pitch divided into thirds; progression allowed only after line is broken.
  • Sets: 4 rounds of 3 minutes with 1-minute rest.
  • Variants: Add a second attacker, allow midfielder 3 touches, or rotate positions after each goal.

Build-Up Under Double Pressure (2 Attackers)

  • Build-Up Under Double Pressure (2 Attackers)

  • Game Concepts: 3v2 build-up (GK + 2 defenders vs 2 attackers), handling numerical inferiority.

  • Technical: Accurate passing, quick decision-making under pressure, oriented control.

  • Tactical: Managing risk in tight areas, supporting movements, use of weak side.

  • Description: Same setup as Exercise 2 but with 2 attackers pressing, increasing the difficulty and requiring faster ball circulation and better positioning.

  • Organization: Same pitch and structure as before, with additional attacker.

  • Sets: 4 rounds of 3 minutes with 90 seconds rest.

  • Variants: Allow midfielder to leave his zone after a pass, introduce a central target player.

Small-Sided Game 3v3 + Free Midfielder

  •  Small-Sided Game 3v3 + Free Midfielder
  • Game Concepts: Transition play, medium-distance finishing, defensive balance after loss.
  • Technical: Passing, control, shooting from range, dribbling in small spaces.
  • Tactical: Positional play, defensive recovery, awareness in build-up and counterattacks.
  • Description:
  • 3v3 game with 1 free midfielder (can move anywhere).
  • Small goals are slightly behind the halfway line.
  • Goals only count if the shot is taken before crossing the marked shooting line.
  • Defensive condition: If the non-engaged defender does not cross the halfway line and position himself to cover from behind, the goal does not count. This simulates real-game transition defense.
  • Organization: 30x20 meter pitch, 2 small goals, shooting zone marked.
  • Sets: 3 rounds of 5 minutes with 2-minute breaks.
  • Variants:
  • Touch limit per player or team.
  • Double goals if scored within 5 seconds of recovery.
  • Role reversal after every goal (scorer becomes defender).
