Set-up: Half a court. Every player has a ball.
Techincal - Passing/Shooting or Dribbling Focus
Action: Players dribble around and the Coach steps and apply pressure around, in, and close to the gates, and can kick balls away BUT they are not eliminated. Players try and get into the gates and stop the ball, and evade the catcher. As a group they try and get to 101 points, 1 point for each gate they get into.
Coaching Points: head up, awareness, small touches, change direction, how to stop the ball. passing/shooting/dribbling technique, demo dribbling,change of direction and pace.

Technical: dribbling 2 - steal the bacon
Set Up: Half a basketball half. 8-10 balls
Action: Players will run and go and take only one ball at a time from any goal ( no puppy guarding). They get a free route. Steal as many balls as possible from other groups and dribble the ball back to their group. 1 BALL AT A TIME.
Coaching Points- The coach keeps time, the winner is the team with the most balls at the end. Be enthusiastic and encourage. start from the hands and pick different variations depending on skill level such as applying a fake before bringing the ball back. Or dribbling around another goal before taking it back to the original group.

Technical: Close control and shooting
Set-Up: Timed by the coach (2-3 mins x 5-7 rounds)
2 backyards and 5-10 yds in the green area in the middle that is shaded, 2 teams, everyone has a ball, kick the balls into the other teams backyards, can't enter middle area as the Coach will get those balls, team with the least balls in their yard wins. WATCH OUT FOR KIDS KICKING TOO HARD. Make the fence longer to be safe.
Coaching Points: controlling the ball to set up a shot, shooting, laces and side of the foot (planting, contact, body shape). demo and show the correct way.

Action: All players without a ball. Coach(s) act like Zombies using a ball to tap players below the knee. If a player gets their ball hit they go get a ball from the zone and they join the Coach as a zombie.
Coaching Points: Accuracy of the pass or shot towards the ball, head up, change of direction/pace. Demo these things, remind players these points.
