PD 5-8 (50 mins)

Organization: Set up 3 areas on half field. If more room is required use the endzone for agility. Split into groups of 10 maximum

Adjust the field set up as needed for Delpark

Duration: 10 minutes for 4 groups, 8 minutes for 5 groups.

Equipment: Area 1- 15x30; flags, poles, hurdles, rings

Area 2- 15x30, cones, balls, small bownets

Area 3- 15x40 split to 2 fields, 5' farpost nets, pinnies

Area 4- 15x30 cones, balls, small bownets

Rotation- 8-10 minutes per station. Have players bring there water with them to each station.

Instructions:

Area 1- Agility course, run as races, players run around each pole in a circle, through hurdles, touch coloured rings, around the flag and back to the start. Set up 3 lanes, try to keep lines of 3-4 players.

Area 2- Use Bownets Over/ under. Player at front of the line starts over/ under, last player passes it through everyones legs and first player runs to the goal with the ball and finishes. Player returns to the back of the line, next player at front continues play until all the balls are gone.

Area 3- Small sided games, play 4v4 for 5/6 and 5v5 for 7/8.

Area 4- Set up cones to make the bridge. Player at the start pass to first player on the brdge who turns and passes to the next player, then passes to the player on the far side of the bridge who finishes on gaol. Players follow their pass, shooter goes back to the start. Any balls that go into the river |outside the cones) are gone and they start over with another ball. The team with the most balls in the net wins.

Coed 9-10 (50 mins)

Organization: Use the 7v7 field across the field with 6' far post goals, cones as shown, balls and pinnies.

Duration: Break group up into 2, run area 1 and 2 simultaneous for 12-15minutes then switch. Area 3 will be run with the both groups as a 7v7 game focusing on positional play.

Instructions:

Area 1- Players split into 2 sides. Start with the wide player making a pass through the poles to their partner who makes a run to receive the ball, and passes back through the next poles to the wide player, Wide player crosses it in for a finish. Players return to the start and switch inside/ outside positions. Sides keep score, go until all the balls are gone, then teams switch sides of the field.

Area 2- Shark and minnows. One player starts in the middle, everyone else tries to dribble across avoiding losing their ball. Each player that loses their ball joins the player in the middl, uhtil one player is left.

Area 3: Set up formations on either side of the field, 7v7- 2-3-1and finish with a game for the remaining time. Stop the game as needed to reset positions.
