Dribbling for possession and Penetration (20 mins)

Dribbling to keep possession and Penetrate to score

2 goals

5 defenders (3 on outside, 2 in middle)

5 Attackers in middle

Defenders holding pennies, must have penny in hand to defend

Attackers must dribble through gate and attempt to score on big goal

+1 for getting through gate, +3 for scoring on goal

Object of game is to recognize open gate and goal, not dribbling into second defender after going through gate, but be patient and recognize the space.

If defender wins ball, he immediately drops penny and becomes an attacker in middle.

If player scores, he gets ball and goes back into circle to play again.

Supporting Teammates (20 mins)

Supporting teammates

All players in middle have ball. Equal number of attackers and defenders in middle. Defenders holding pennies.

3 addtional attackers on outside.

Game is played with attackers in middle attempting to pass ball through gate to teammate on outside. As soon as pass is played, passer must run to touch a goal before becoming a supporting teammate on outside. Receiving player must dribble through one of the gates into the circle to complete the point. If defender wins ball, he drops penny and becomes attacker.
