FUNCTION
In an area of 20 x 20 yards, separate the group into two groups of 12 or 18 players,(six or 9 players inside, and the remaining outside, five players with the ball outside and the remaining players without the ball inside, the will sprint to receive dribble one or two obstacles and pass the back and look to receive on a different angle.

TECHNICAL SKILLS INTENSIVE - UNOPPOSED 15 mins
ORGANIZATION
15 - 16 players, balls, cones
OBJECTIVES - Ball speed, speed of play, pass accuracy
FUNCTION
In an area of 20 x 20 yards, with a square within of 10 x 10 yards, with one player at each corner of this inside square, and 3 players at one outside square corner and three players diagonally from the group of three and the remaining players will be split into two groups of two players, place at the each corner of the outside box.
Passing patterns begin from one outside player of the group of three player outside playing a pass to one of the players withing the square box, that will combine with each other and play the next pass to the next outside corner player, that will play a long ball to the next group of three players so the pattern will initiate again from this corner.
Players pass and follow their passes.

DEFENDING PRINCIPLES - 4 D's - OPPOSED - 20 MINS
ORGANIZATION
4 pug goals, balls, color vests, cones, 12 to 16 players
OBJECTIVES - Positional play ( defending unit - 2v2, 3v2, 3x3
FUNCTION
In an area of 40 x 20 yards, split into two zones of 15 x 5(middle zone) x 15 yards, place 2 counter goals at the end of each zone, 6 players at each end with 3 players on each corner.
Play initiate by one player from the defending team passing a square pass to his partner that will receive and play a diagonal pass to the attacking team, that upon receive the ball will initiate the attack. The defending team can only press after the first touch.

FUNCTION
OBJECTIVE - PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY PREPARE THE PLAYERS FOR THE UPCOMING TRAINING ACTIVITIES
In an area of 20 x 20 yards, set up a circuit training as the diagram above. In the middle of the grid place a cone as the STARTING POINT. Players will start from the middle cone by jogging in zig-zag at station, hop over the two hurdles, sprint to the third cone, back pedal to the second cone and sprint again to the fourth cone and back pedal again to the third cone, to sprint to the next corner. Slalom and cutting to the next station, after the last slalom sprint to the next corner and perform agility at the ladder, lateral foot work agility at the cones and jog to the next corner, to perform a lateral shuffles.
