Set up is the same as the technical warm-up

Change- Add 2 defender to defend the ball on the back side.
* Allow the players to be creative and check for an understanding of the passing drills
OB's need to attack the endline before dropping/crossing a pass into the center.
S always takes near post
Near side winger will overlap to take over the far post
Coaching points: Continue to drill in the points made from the technical warm-up
Extra players will sub in for defense and forwards. Allow the working team to go for 10 min then allow the defenders and attackers to switch in.
Switch goalies
Progression:
1. Add in 2 more defenders to defending third once success happens often
2. Add in a defender to beat down the wing. (See if the CM can find the pass option to the uncovered OB)
3. Add in 1 CB in our attacking third.

11v6 Conditioned game.
Condition: Attack must play through the CB and the FWD attack must start with the OB
Red team attacks to the big goal.
If the blue team wins the ball they can attack either of the 3 cone goals at midfield
Coaching points:
1. 3 from the previous drills
2. Midfields holding back to take space in midfield
3. Winning the ball back before it reaches midfield.
Change teams as needed.

Technical Warmup
Setup on a smaller field to allow for quick rotations. You will need to add players after each passing drill to make it harder and teach multiple option.
1. Above, only the first optiocn is shown. Keeper (K) passes out the the Right Mid (RM) who lays it off to the Center mid (CM). The CM makes a pass the to flay for the OB to run onto.
2. K-CB-OB-RM-CM-OB (CB added)
3. K-RM-CB-CM-LM (LM touches inside to send the through pass)-left side OB (LM and LOB added. The play will switch fields)
4. Same as number 3 but this time the LM will switch the field with a pass to the ROB
5. K-ROB-CB-CM-RM-RCB-LCB-LM-CM-ROB
Coaching points:
1. Weight of the pass
2. CM checking to the ball. Must be an available pass.
3. OB's checking to the ball and timeing of runs off the ball. (Make runs when CM has recieved the ball)
* Once the OB's have recieved the final pass they will cross it TO the keeper to continue play from the other side.
