2v2/3v3 Mini World Cup (15 mins)

ORGANIZATION

Create 3 15x10 fields with a retreat line in the middle.
If odd numbers, give one team 3 players.
Have teams play games for 5-8 minutes and rotate winners.

Risky Business (15 mins)

SETUP

Divide group evenly as possible and make two teams
Set up two larger nets on opposite ends
Have a whiteboard present for players to choose the scoring system

HOW TO PLAY:

To tell who will start as the attacking team. Have both sides determine what the scoring system Is
- 1v1 =
- 2v1 =
- 3v2 =
The attacking team will call out a scenario "2v1!" and then go onto the field to play until a goal is scored.
Switch roles after 3 minutes

PROGRESSION

Give both teams a secret challenge
Blocked shots = 1 point
Winning the ball and scoring right away = 3 points

3v3 Funino (15 mins)

ORGANIZATION:

Create a 20x25 yard grid with a 5 yard scoring zone and use 4 pop up nets
Game is a regular 3v3 or 2v2 game
The attacking team tries to score on 1 of 2 nets in front of them. They must score before the scoring zone.

GUIDING QUESTIONS:

How can we play to the most forward player?
Can you try to see both the opposing team and your passing teammate?
What shape will help you attack?
What is challenging?

Transition SSG (15 mins)

ORGANIZATION:

Create a 25x20 yard grid and have teams split up into 2 teams. Can be played as a 3v3 or 2v2, depending on numbers.
3 Balls to be used. If a ball goes out of play, the last person to kick the ball retrieves the ball and the attacking teams picks up a ball from a cone to restart the game.
