Setup two small (pugg) goals on each endline, roughly 5 yards from the corner
Play a numbers up game (either 3v2 or 4v3)
2v2 or 3v3 in the playing area, players on each end cannot come into playing area (extra man)
Coach plays a ball into attacking team from half, attacking team can score on either goal on the same endline
Defending team can score on opposite goals
Rotate players on attacking and defending teams
Progressions:
Progress from a numbers up situation to an even sided (full) game with normal restarts
Keep the two goals on each side to encourage decision making on which goal(s) to attack and which goal(s) to defend
Attacking Coaching Points:
Encourage 1v1s so players become confident while dribbling and attacking
“Dribble to attract”
Guide decision making but let them make their own decisions
Highlight which goal is more apparent to attack based of defending team
Defending Coaching Points:

Encourage quick counter attacks when regaining possession
ASK players where they think they need to be and guide them in their actions

3 Teams 1v1
Team is divided into 3 teams
Version 1
1 player at a time goes onto the field for each team. They play 1 vs 1 vs 1. When someone is scored on, that player is eliminated and the next player from that team comes onto the pitch. New player starts with the ball and play continues. When a whole team is eliminated, the last 2 teams play 1 vs 1 until only 1 team is left with any players.
Version 2
Each player per team is given a number (try to make each team's best player #1, etc. to make it fair. Coach calls out a number and those players play till there is a goal or the coach deems it has gone too long. Each team starts at 0. If you score, your team goes +1 and if your team is scored on your team goes -1. This way we will have some teams play together as it may be +3 to -1 to -2 and strategy comes into play. Mix it up by calling out 2 or 3 numbers at a time.

Set up a 5v5 or 6v6 game dependent on the amount of players available (may need a neutral or coach in net).
Let the boys play! Encourage players to get into their shape on goal kicks.
