Setup. Make 2 rectangles a large 30x 20 one with a smaller 12x 10 on in the middle. In the large rectangle, make a box in each corner 5x5. All players with a ball.
Activity 1- Initially players are dribbling in tight quarters inside the center rectangle working both feet and various techniques, sole rolls, pull backs, inside outside of foot. Coach can call out specific requests like toe taps, bells. Run solo dribble in center square for 2-3 minutes.
Progression- Make competition for 2 minutes how many of the outside corner squares the players can dribble to with the condition that they must pass back through the middle rectangle and select a square on the opposite side from the last one they went through.
Activity 2- Done in pairs with 1 ball per pair. Players will dribble and pass within the center rectangle.for 2-3 minutes. Progression becomes competive. Each team will see how many corner squares they can dribble to in 2 minutes. Only one player from the team may leave the inner rectangle at a time with the ball to dribble to a corner square. Once there, they must play a pass to their partner inside the inner rectangle who will then dribble to a square on the other side while the initial player returns to the center rectangle to receive a pass back once their partner reaches the other square.
Activity 3- Make groups of 3. Same rules as activity 2 but the 2 players remaining inside the inner rectangle must combine with a give and go pass combination in order to dribble out the other side.

Setup: Create a 30x 20 rectangle and divide in half with 3 gates down the mid line. 6 players in pinnies and 6 without. One ball
Activity: Setup players 6v4 on one half with the ball. The team with 4 has 2 players on the empty side. Team of 6 starts with the ball and must dribble and posess the ball. Team with 4 must try to win the ball , not just kick it out. Upon winning the ball they will play the ball through any of the gates to their other teammates waiting on the other side. and immediately transition to the other side. The team that lot posession can only send 4 to the other side and the activity goals continue on the other side. Team of 6 will earn a point for every 10 passes made. Team out of posession will earn a point everytime they are able to win the ball and play to teammates.
Progression: Play even 5v5 on one side and 1v1 on the other for transition, team that wins posession must find their target player on the other side before transitioning.

SSG allow free play with limited stoppage
Regular 5v5 or 6v6 game with 2 scoring conditions
1. Attacking- In order to score, your entire team (except goalie if playing with a goalie) must be in the opponents half.
2. Defenders-If the opponent scores and you don't have all defenders in your own half, the goal is worth 2.
This will encourage movement off the ball offensively and defensively.

Warmup-Physical literacy (10 mins)
Setup Create 2 rows of 6 cones on each end of the gym with 10 yeards between them. Make 2 small gates in the middle between each. Split players evenly behind each set of cones as shown. Teams are A vs B.
Place a ball at the end of each of the first set of cones
Activity:
Starts with 1st player in row A and B. Must execute whatever dynamic movement coach instructs through their cones (high knees, quick feet etc...), collect the ball at the end, dribble through either one of their gates at which point they perform some form of a football move (fake and take, maradona, sole roll etc...) Leave the ball at the top of the next row of cones and sprint to their teammate. Upon high five, the next teammate goes back the other way.
Repeat with different activities through the cones.
