5 vs 5 to one goal on half the field.
The focus will be on the back four playing against a front 5. The sequence begins with the server playing a ball into the keeper. The keeper then looks to play out to one of the red defenders. The defenders look to circulate the ball around the backline. Once the ball has been circulated, one of the CBs will play a diagonal ball to the #8 or #10. The backline will then step up and the play is now live with the blue team looking to attack the goal. If the red team win the ball, they look to play into the server in transition.
Coaching points: 1) Closing space and managing depth
2) Keeping the line connected
3) Communication between defenders
