Topic: Regaining Possession to Switching play.
Organization:
Split players into teams with pinnies.
13 players involved, shown above.
4V2 in each 25'x25' Square + 1 Neutral player to switch play.
Players play possession in their square until defenders win the ball.
When defenders win the ball, they quickly pass to the Neutral player to switch play to the next square.
Then they trade pinnies with the person who touched the ball last.
If ball goes out, coach plays in.
Players can change on coaches discretion.

Topic: Shooting - 3 types of finishing (15 minutes)
Organization:
A lot of soccer balls needed.
Set up obstacles at the top of the 18 yard box, 23 yards away, & 28 yards away from goal.
Split players up on each side.
First shot - player 1 runs laterally to player 2, player 2 plays a weighted pass in.
Player 1 accepts the pass, cuts the ball the other direction & finishes with their left foot.
Player 1 then runs down to poles, then back in for another pass from player 2 for a one timer at the top of the box.
player 1 then shows for a quick give & go to an outside foot touch, then finish.
Players rotate clockwise.

Organization:
Split players into defenders & attackers.
Attackers pass the ball to defender.
Defender passes back to attackers & can close down their space once attackers have possession.
Attackers work together to score in a 2V1 situation.

Dynamic stretching
High knees, butt-kicks, side steps, inside-outside steps, open gate/close gate, skip w/ forward arms, lunge twists, backwards to sprint & high kicks (5 minutes).
Warm-up with ball
Organization:
- 4 players per area
- 5 cones, 2 markers & 1 ball per area
- 6' wide & 25' long per area
Players carry the ball to the first marker.
Stop the ball on the marker & proceed to cones.
Quick side stepping through cones.
Sprint back the the ball, have a touch & pass back to line.
Join the back of the line.
Player who accepts pass, passes to player behind & moves up to the marker.
Player on the marker now opens up legs & shoulder checks.
Player with the ball plays a weighted pass through the players legs in front of them.
Player runs on, stops the ball at the next marker & proceeds with the activity.
(5 minutes)
Same set up.
First player in line, carries to second marker, preforms pull-back turn.
Close ball control, followed by a set pass back to line.
Weighted pass back, player preforms a half turn & carries the ball to the 4 cones.
Lateral outside foot touches through the cones, followed by an inside foot touches to an inside foot turn.
Change of pace out of cones & a pass back to the line. Repeat.
