Organization:
1. Set up multiple lines to ensure less inactive players.
2. Use three cones.
3. Cones set up 3yds apart in straight line.
4. One ball per line.
5. Distribute players evenly.
Instructions:
1. Challenge lasts 30 seconds.
2. On coach's command, first player in each line begins dribbling.
3. Players look to dribble in and out of cones (in figure 8/slalom).
4. Player gets one point each time a cone is passed.
5. If a cone is touched with the ball, the point is not given.
6. The next player waiting in line counts for the player dribbling.
7. After 30 seconds, the player that just went goes to the back of the line.
8. Process repeats until everyone has had an opportunity.
Emphasis:
1. Try your best.
2. If you make a mistake, keep going.
3. You are only competing with yourself, not with others.

2. Five on right side, five on left side (divided by cone, shown in orange).
3. Red cones set up 2yd from goalpost.
4. Blue cones set up 2yds from red cones.
Instructions:
1. Player starts at penalty arc.
2. Player has 10 shots.
3. Must use right foot on right side, left foot on left side.
4. Player must alternate sides (left, right, left, right).
5. After every shot, player must go around the central cone (shown in black).
POINTS SYSTEM
3 points - between goalpost and red cone.
2 points - between blue and red cones.
1 point - between blue cones.

1. Try your best.
2. Use both feet.
3. Try to shoot instead of passing.

Organization:
1. 20x15 area.
2. Players without a ball (to start).
Instructions:
1. One player holding a pinnie is designated as the tagger.
2. Other players look to avoid getting tagged.
3. Tagged players must stand still with legs wide open.
4. Free players look to unfreeze their teammates by crawling through their legs.
5. Note: tagger cannot tag a crawling player.
Coaching Points:
1. Head up to observe space/tagger's position.
2. Ability to change speeds.
3. Ability to change directions.
4. Use of unbalancing movements to evade pressure.
Progressions:
1. Add more taggers.
2. Add a ball. Players unfreeze teammates by dribbling through player's open legs.
3. After a few rounds, proceed to teaching players 1-2 dribbling skills.

General Set-Up
Organization:
1. General field set-up is shown in the diagram.
2. Central area will be split into eight small-sided fields.
3. Areas near the corner flag will be used for skills challenges.
4. One penalty area will be set up for a shooting skills challenge.
5. The furthest penalty area will be reserved as an overflow/meeting area.
Instructions:
1. Players will be distributed evenly at the start.
2. Each coach will receive approximately 20 players.
3, Players will do a physical warm-up followed by a dribbling/ball mastery activity.
4. Following the ball mastery, players will play 5v5 games.
5. Skills challenges and an overflow area will be set up as shown.
6. Use these in the event that players begin to get tired or disengaged during the SSGs.
