Setup:
Set up the players as shown, working on short and long range passing, with a dribble at the top cone back to the starting point in order to keep the balls moving all the time.
Instructions:
Tell players to focus on the 1 touch set being a lighter pass, keeping the ball in a constant state of movement and always being on their toes and ready to receive a good/bad pass, in order to keep the play moving and flowing well. make sure players are lined up directly in front of their teammate in order for a straight line pass.
Progressions:
We can change up the passing sequence.
Add more balls into each group to keep the speed of play high.
Tells players they now need to play 1 touch, apart from the dribble at the end of the pattern.

Setup:
As shown, have the players equally spread out in the corner areas.
Play across to the player nearest you.
This next player steps forward and plays the ball diagonally across the area to the top corner.
The next player receiving the ball sets the ball back across to his teammate.
His teammate will now play the ball in front of him to run onto and dribble back to the starting position of the passing pattern.
Players always follow from A to B to C to D and back to A.
Instructions:
Keep things simple and focus on using the inside of your foot when passing, and in step or laces cross field pass, and timing of the runs going forward.
Progressions:
Add more balls for quicker speed of play.
Less touches on the ball from the players.
Mix up the passing sequence.

Setup:

Instructions:
Keep the ideas and principles the same as the 3 drills and entire session before the game - passing, 1 touch set, movement off the ball and a controlled first touch when needed.
Progressions:
Add more or a higher number of passes for the players to complete before scoring.
For the final 10 mins. take away any conditions set to let the players play freely.

Passing Warm Up (15 mins)
Setup:
We have the players setup in a circle shape, and play a simple 1 and 2 touch passing patterns, moving the balls around the circle, either clockwise or anticlockwise, depending which foot you want the players to practice on mostly. It always involves a pass, set and playing to the next person around the circle.
Instructions:
Keep the balls moving at a high pace and make sure players are aware of the next ball coming to them and where it is coming from. Keep things simple and look for the player to perfect the basics of this drill.
Progressions:
We can add in more balls for a faster speed of play if needed, but make sure the players are able to play at that pace.
You can also change the direction of play on command so the players have to adjust quickly, just like in a game.
Tell players they must play 1 touch as they improve.
