MIRROR BOXES:
Players get in pairs with one blue player in one square, one red in the square facing the blue player's square. The objective of the activity is for one player in the pair to dictate the action of the other player.
To start, the blue player starts in the middle of his square facing the red player, who should also be in the center of her/his square but facing facing the blue player. For 90 seconds, the blue player moves to one cone and then back to the center of her/his square to allow for a neutral restart before picking another direction. The red player must respond to the direction of the blue player, as if he were a mirror reflection of the blue player. If the blue player goes to his upper left, then the red player must go to his upper right so they both go toward the same cone. If the blue player goes to the back left, then the red player goes to his back right.
Once the 90 seconds are up, players are allowed one minute to recover.
After the recover, the red player then dictates the direction the blue player is to react to.
After the 90 seconds are completed with the red player dictating the direction, players rest for one minute, again.
The cycle repeats, but this time players use the ball and try to mirror each other - once with the blue player leading, the second with the red player leading. Each session is 90 seconds separated by 1 full minute.
The number of turns can be modified, as needed.

BOX-to-BOX SPEED BALL SPRINTS:
Players line up on the goal side along the top of the 18-yd box. One soccer ball per player is placed beyond cones at the opposite side of the field, just within the final third of the pitch. On the whistle, players sprint from the 18-yd box to the center line, back-pedal to the cones marking the end of the first third of the pitch (or about half-way between the top of the 18 and the center line), then sprint beyond the cones at the final third to possess a ball.
After the first round, a specific number of balls are kicked out of play (in this case 3 balls).
Players walk back to the initial start point and resume the sprint - back-pedal - sprint run to the remaining soccer balls. Players that do not find a ball must leave the challenge. Additional balls are removed and the remaining players compete for the limited numbers of balls. This continues until only 1 ball is left and the remaining players must sprint to see who wins.
Players that do not collect a ball during the challenge are sent to the perimeter of the pitch where they must continuously run laps until the challenge is over. Players can jog slowly along the touchlines, but need to work each set of agility ladders around the pitch. Players need to sprint the length of the goal line, but can return to a slow jog as they round the corner flag.
When the last group of eliminated players complete one full lap, the activity is over. Only one player avoids running the lap and that is the last ball winner.

BATTLE BALL with GOALS:
Two players start at the hi-hat cone beyond the touchline with arms interlaced. Two other players, one for each team stands in the adjacent area to their teammate. (See playing area #1 for an example of the starting position.) A neutral player tosses the ball from being the interlocked players onto the playing area. The two interlocked players lean against each other to try to gain position to win the ball. Once possession is won, the challenge becomes 2v2 with the team in possession trying to score on the opposite side goal. Play continues until one team scores or 30 seconds expires.
The players that battled for the ball remain in the playing area and the two other players return to the line to await their next challenge.
Players rotate continuously with play being quick and fast-paced.

SPEED, AGILITY & BATTLE BALL
Equipment (assuming 16 players): 40+ small cones (27 red for Mirror Box activity; 12+ for Battle Ball); 12+/- hi-hat cones (2 for Battle Ball; 10+/- for Box-to-Box Speed Ball Sprints); 5+ agility sticks; 4 agility ladders; 2 sets of PUGGS; 16 balls
Setup:
Mirror boxes: setup pairs of 5ydX5yd squares along the touchline of one side of the field. Have two soccer balls ready for each pair of players one ball per player will be used)
Box-to-Box Speed Ball Sprints: set up hi-hats cones across the field, mid-way between the center line and the top of the 18-yd box on both sides of the field. Place 5 or more agility sticks to mark the center line on the pitch (optional). Place 16 soccer balls (used from the Mirror Box activity) beyond the far side set of hi-hat cones (as illustrated). Place four agility ladders outside the perimeter of the field, two evenly spaced along each touchline.
Battle Ball with Goals:
Set cones along the length of the field on the opposite side of the Mirror Boxes - cones should stretch from one corner of the 18-yd box on one half of the field to the other corner of the 18-yd box at the other side of the field. (This will set the width, along with the touchline, for the activity.) Use the center line to split two activity areas. The area from the center line to the corner of the goal box is one playing area; center line to the other goal box is the other playing area. 2 Pugg goals are set up at the line even with the top of each 18-yd box facing the center line; 2 more Pugg goals are set at the center line facing the first two Pugg goals (see illustration). A hi-hat cone is placed midway at both playing areas, 7 yards beyond the touchline. Take the balls from the Box-to-Box Speed Ball activity and place 8 at each playing area (You should only need one ball at each, but the others are kept in reserve.)
