4v4+3 - Deny Central Penetration (20 mins)
Intervals:
2 min work + 1 min rest x 6 reps = 18 min
Setup:
25x15 grid
5x5 grid in middle (goal)
2 teams and 3 neutrals
Activity:
Team in possession scores by getting ball through central goal (ball must go out through different side it entered).
On transition, must use an endline neutral before trying to score.
Coaching Points:
+ Press the ball and cut off one passing lane
+ See one, screen one for cover defenders
+ Forces passes sideways or backwards
+ Look for moments to tackle (bad touch, bouncing ball)

Attacking team plays 2v1 in midfield box and attempts to transfer ball into attacking box to penetrate and finish on goal.
