Objective -
To focus on technical handling and body position whilst dealing with resistance.
Description -
GK1 will be attached to the goalpost using a resistance band. They will move to the right, use quick feet to move around the cone and receive a volley from GK2, they will then move central and jump over the hurdle before receiving a volley from Coach, they will move left and move around the cone to receive a volley from GK3. They will then reverse the process and start with GK3 before finishing with GK2. 4 sets before changing.

Progression -
Ball from GK2 and GK3 becomes a high ball to jump and collect.

Objective -
To focus on increasing physical fitness and making saves under fatigue.
Description -
GK1 will start with a ball in their hands, they will run and place it next to the post before turning to face a serve from Coach, they will then run back, pick up the ball and place it next to the opposite post before turning for a serve from Coach. Repeat for a total of 6 reps. Rotate, 2 sets each w/progression to firm ground strike.

Coaching Points -
Maintain technique (handling) and technical decision making (direction of parry) whilst under fatigue.
Progression -
Serve from coach becomes a firmer strike on goal.

Objective -
To focus on accurate distribution (roll) and defending the goal whist under fatigue. Introduce fun and competition.
Description -
GK1 will start with a ball in their hands and attempt to roll the ball through the gate (two poles) if they pass through the gate they can not concede a point regardless of GK2 scoring. If they miss the gate and concede then they will concede a point. After the strike, GK1 will have to run out and around the cone as GK3 steps in and rolls the ball through the gate and the process is repeated. The game is continuous, with the winner being declared as the keeper to have conceded the least amount of points after 5 rounds.

Warm Up (10 mins)
Objective -
To prepare warm up and prepare the body for the session.
Description -
GK's will complete a full round by completing 3x repetitions at each station before rotating. GK's will compete in speed of movement and accuracy of passing.
1: GK starts on their stomach, on the GO, they will run to the cone and complete a full rotation around focussing on quick feet movements, they will then run forward and pass one of the 3 balls into the small goal.
2: GK starts on their stomach, on the GO, they will run forward and complete 2 high hurdle jumps focussing on explosive vertical jump, they will then run forward and pass one of the 3 balls into the small goal.
3: GK starts on their stomach, on the GO, they will run to the hurdles and jump laterally left (alternate right on 2nd rep), jump forward and right focussing on minimal time spent touching the ground, they will then run forward and pass one of the 3 balls into the small goal.
