Set up as shown. Coached team (blue) play 1-3-4-1 against managed team (reds) who play 2-3-3.
Flags as offside line.
Reds are instructed to play a very direct style and have 10 seconds to score a goal from the start point. Blues defend the main goal and score by getting the ball into their 9 in the target zone (shaded).
Start Point 1: ball played into wide red midfielder from the red defender on that side who is pressed by the blue wing back on that side. Red midfielder sets it back to the red defender who then plays long into or beyond the front 3. Vary between both sides of the pitch.
Start point 2: as above but after the ball is set back to the red defender he switches the play to the other red defender who plays long.
