Objective: to develop game intelligence in players.

Organization: 3v3 with 4 goals. The field is approximately 22x30. There are two "scoring zones" at each end that are approximately 6 yards. Goals are 12 yards apart.

Instructions: players are placed 4 on a team. The game starts with the coach throwing the ball in the air in the middle of the grid. Teams play 3v3. Key Coaching Points:

1. *Whick of the 2 goals is less defended? (2) *What shape should you attack and defend

in?(triangle) (3) Why should I play in atriangle? (4) Why should

attackers without the ball keep their distance from the ball carrier? (5) Should the ballcarrier pass early or as the defender gets closer? (6) Should ball-carrier pass or dribble with no defender in front of them?
