Description
The coach passes to either winger. The winger has 2 touches. The winger passes into midfield (3V2), midfielders use combination play to switch the play and penetrate with a pass to the opposite winger who makes a forward run. The 3 midfielders can use the 9 to combine with. The 9 only has two touches. Once the ball goes in behind the 9, the opposite winger and one midfielder get into the box to score with a one touch finish. Two defenders recover into the the box and defend the goal. Midfield defenders can intercept passes and then score by passing into the goal on their 2nd touch.

passing practice
wide players start with the ball and play either the 3,4 or the 6,8
once we do this we then play into the two central players who replicate the 6 or the 10 then we bounce out to either the 3,4 or other 6,8 who will then switch to the other 2,5 or 7,11
this is a design formation to be playing out the back and also across the front third.
players must work on movement and checking away from the defenders and supporting the ball by following their pass.
work on both sides and play both ways
