Players: 6 - 16 players

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Area: 30 x 20 divided into two 30 x 10 grids, offset small goals at each end. Players: 6-16. set up as 12 here divided into groups of 6 + a pole/mannequin for each group.
Explanation: Set up as shown. Attacker dribbling into grid towards first defender (mannequin/static) and plays a wall pass with the side bouncer, then dribbles towards the second defender and can either play a wall pass with the second bouncer or take on defender trying to score in small goal, second defender only moves of starting mark once attacker has recieved the ball from the first wall pass. Sequence then restarts from the end of goal attempt. Rotate players through the various positions.
Coaching Points: Dribble ball with close control; engage defender; judge distance to the defender and when to lay off for wall pass - too earlier and defender can recover position - too late and defender can tackle; fake (body faint/step over/scissors) one way before passing off the bouncer the other way.

Area: 30 x 20 divided into three zones by flat markers with two mini goals at each end; Players: 8-16, 12 shown here divided into two teams of 5 with 2 bouncers.
Explanation: play 5 v 5 with the 2 bouncers creating an attacking 7 v 5 by always passing back to the team they received the ball from the bouncers are allowed to move with or without the ball anywhere across zones but not allowed to score. Attacking team can only transition the ball across zones by either dribbling or playing a wall pass across the zone lines. 1 points for scoring in either goal, 2 points for dirbbling across the end line, extra point if immediately preceeded by wall pass.
Observations: Perception: space in behind defenders for wall pass; distance to defender; position of support player. Decision: timing of wall pass - too early defender can recover position - too late defender can tackle; Wall Pass or 1 v 1; dribble across endline or score in goal. Execution: Wall pass completion, running the ball with close control

Area: 30 x 40 flat markers dividing into halves. Players: 8-16 divided into two teams
Explanation: Play starts with GK, normal game, in possession encourage dribbling across half way line, points for goal mulitplied by number of successful wall passes in that sequence of possession, e.g. if goal is scored after three completed wall passes in sequence of possesion without defender touching ball the goal is worth 3 points.

RWB Skill Introduction (10 mins)
Area: 30 x 20 divided into four 15 x 10 grids set up as shown with small goal in each grid. Players: 6-16 divided into groups of 3 set up as shown, attacker, defender, bouncer.
Explanantion: three progressions above. Progression A; Attacker dribbling into grid towards defender (defender is static/passive), plays a wall pass with the side bouncer, then goes on to score goal unconstested. Attacker then becomes defender, defender to bouncer, bouncer to attacker to restart. Progression B; same sequence but now defender starts deeper and moves forward towards but only in a passive nature (not trying to win the ball). Progession C; same sequence now the attacker is deciding whether to use the wall pass or take the defender on down the other side, defender is now trying to win the ball.
