Blues condition
As reds are pressing, CBs drop down into the box to recieve the back, now try and work around the press. FB drops to recieve the ball and build up through and middle and around
Condition the reds to press and stop the ball being played through the middle and be narrow, this should allow space to expolit the FB in space
Striker stays between the 2 CB and the highest CM goes into the space to recieve a ball from the FB, In the 11v 11 game, this will be recreated by the winger coming inside and CM going wide giving the FB 2 options.
Again, if we lose the ball out of possession, can the screener support and opposite FB tuck in to defend any runs
What if (Block 3)
Reds win the ball high up the pitch and getting success pressing. Moves into Block 3 with the Striker staying between the 2 CB but now dropping into the centre circle and the CB playing a long ball to the striker to get out.

11 v 11 to refine practice
Blue team play in a 4-3-3 formation with a deep lyer and a central 2.
Red team play in a 4-3-3 formation with a deep lyer and a central 2.
3 blocks 2 x 8 minute blocks with 2 minutes rest. 1 x 5 minute block to do what if
Block 1
Condition the reds to sit off and allow blue to try and break line
Ball played into CB, who can travel, deep lyer to get on the ball. This is done by ball side FB dropping in passing line of CB
2 CM split and wingers roll inside to create the next passing line, ST goes ball side on the CB.
Out of possesion - FB rolls inside to create back 3 in case we lose the ball and deep lyer remains in front of back 2.
CB can travel into space after recieving the ball to break a line as well
Important that players understand out of possession in case we lose the ball.
Block 2
Condition the reds to press from the front to allow space behind for midfield/forward to recieve a long ball pass to break a line by over
CB need to find the passing line around while reds are narrow. Allow Blue FB to go higher to support and allow 2 v 1s.
Stiker runs channel while wingers come inside
What if
Cant get out by playing through can we play over by going direct to the striker.

Block 1 (10 mins)
Principle - Breaking lines playing through the 3rds
Organisation - working with the blues in a 4-3-3 without wingers against Reds in a 4-3-3 without FB
Area cornered off from 18 yard line to top 1/3 and 3 goals giving players a goal to aim for
Poles with area for reference for the red team
Blocks - 3 blocks, 4.5 minutes with 1.5 mnutes rest - total 18 minutes
Reds condition - Behind the pole, no pressing the blues. Red must stay behind. This allows the CB to recieve the ball without any pressure and step out, once the CB comes towards the pole, reds can press
Blues 1st pattern - through and around
CB recieves the ball, CM in between ST and Winger recives the ball. As ball is passed can the FB move forward.
1st line is broken through the st and winger and pass around the corner to FB. FB pass is the to the striker who runs into the channel.
Striker plats as high as edge of circle to create space. Ball side CM stay on the centre half line and in line with the 6 year box to create space for the CM to recieve the ball and a bounce pass to the FB. Opoosite CM drops in the opposition hald to create another option should it be needed
Goal is to score in the 3 goals. If reds win the ball, have 8 seconds to try and score a goal.
What If - If the CM cant recieves the pass to break a line, the CB can travel with the ball to break the line or CM 1 can move back out the passing line and create space for CM 2 to recieve a pass in the passing line and play into the FB.
Key considerations - ST remains high to create space between the lines. opposite FB come inside to make a back 3 and 1 screener so we are covered out of possession.
If CB moves to break a line, how do the FB and CM help if we lose possession. Furtherst FB comes inside and opoosite CB comes over to cover.
