SET UP:
Half field with a goal & a GK. 2 flags at the center of the halfway line. 4 attackers & 3 defenders. one attacker starts out btw the flags with the ball.
SEQUENCE:
Player between the flags starts the 4 v. 3 game using overlapping runs to attack & finish.
VARIATION:
Add 2 more attackers & one more def. to change the angle of the overlap runs.
COACHING POINTS:
Overlapping run should be made when winger has turned to start dribbling inwards.
Ball should be played in front of the overlapping player so he or she can run onto.

50x70yrd field. Flags in the center 15x15. divide players into 2 teams of 6 plus 2 GK & a neutral in the center square.
SEQUENCE:
Neutral player starts the game by passing to one of the teams. Teams play 6 v. 6 with the attacking team using overlaps to attack & finish.
COACHING POINTS:

SET UP:
-2 flags 20 yds apart.
- attackers line up at the flags with 2 neutral player standing btw the flags.
SEQUENCE:
The first attacker passes to one of the neutral players, who controls the ball while dribbling inward to create space. As soon as neutral player turns with the ball, attacker starts his overlapping run. Ball is played to overlapping runner who plays the ball to the other group of attackers.
neutrals stay in the middle.
VARIATIONS:
Ball is played from one neutral player to the other then to the overlapping runner.
