Set up : cones, balls, grid size to match players abilities. balance teams
Activity: Shooting target : Have players pick a partner One ball per group.
In the middle place a ball on the cone as the target. Players take turns using their laces or the inside of their foot to try and knock the ball off the cone. If they are successful they get a goal. if they miss their partner now looks to knock the ball down. The games is continuous until someone gets to 6 goals/points.
Using your laces 3 goals/Points using the inside 1 point
Progression 1: Once players play the first round now they must use their weaker foot.
Progression 2: Allow players to use any foot they want.
Coaching points: striking the balleyes on the ball you are striking laces toe down, attack the ball, planting foot and shoulders facing the target, weight of the ball, part of the foot laces our inside, lean over the ball

Activity: Hand Ball Split group up into 2 equal teams. Start without GK'S .
Procedure: Depending on numbers , set up one or two Fields. Players attack by throwing and catching the ball. The player with the ball can only take 3 steps and must pass or shoot( throw). TO score you must be in the scoring zone as indicated in the diagram. Defending players can intercept and then attack the opposite goal. you cannot grab the ball from a players hands.
Introduce the concept of space creation, (width & depth) spreading out when they have the ball.
Progression 1: Once players understand the game now to score you must using your foot player can roll or bounce a ball to a teammate in the scoring zone and they can look to strike the ball.
Progression 2: ADD GK'S
