Organization:
Each group of 9 will be split in half again (each coach will take 2 groups)
Groups of 4/5
6 cones per group creating 3 lines (emphasizing having 3 lines of attack)
Instructions:
Player A plays to Player B
Player B opens up and plays to Player C
Player C dribbles back and beats Player A with a move (secondary learning of dribbling skills)
Rotation
Player A moves to Player B, Player B to Player C, Player C moves to back of line and Player D becomes Player A.
Coaching Points:
1. Creating triangle by moving off 1st touch of player A
2. Opening out and receiving on the back foot (furthest from the ball)
3. Quality of Pass (Weight and Accuracy)
4. Checking Shoulder before pass and as it travels
Progressions:
Addition of semi-opposed 1 vs 1 with Player C vs Player A
Addition of semi-opposed player to push off in the middle line (see above) - this player would rotate every rotation

Organization:
8 vs 6 - white team looking to build out and find either goal / blue team looking to win the ball and go straight to goal
Coach has supply of balls so build up isn't always from a goal kick but also open play
Instructions:
1 coach working on the Primary learning outcomes - Build Out Phase, Core Principle #1 (coach will use all coaching methodologies including stoppages)
1 coach working on the Secondary learning outcomes - Deny Progression (coach will only use natural stoppages and in the flow to coach)
Coaching Points:
1. Who moves and where?
2. When do they move?
3. Why to they move ?
4. What does our build out shape look like against the opposition system?
5. What if they change system? how do we answer the questions above?
Progressions:

Players will have free play for the last 15 minutes of the practice

18 players including 2 goalkeepers
Area size 15 x 15 - we will adapt as necessary
6 attacking players
3 defending players
Activity is replicated over 2 areas
Instructions:
Players are looking to transfer the ball from 1 end of the area to the other
If they are able to do so they score a point and look to go immediately the other way
If the defending team win the ball they have to make 5 passes to score a point
If they make 5 passes another attacker may enter the area to help defend
Coaching Points:
1. Create Space, Get Unmarked
2. Positive Player Movement and Interchange
3. Combination Play
Progressions:
1. Limit the Number of touches by the inside players (increase in awareness - Player Habits)
2. Limit the Number of touches by the outside players (increased emphasis on player movements)
3. Combination of both of the above
