PURPOSE:
In the same 15x25m rectangle, you place one goal 5m wide at either short end of the rectangle. Coaches identify which group Team #1 (number that will be called first) and Team #2 (number that will be call last) are for purposes of this drill. Coach calls out "2 (blue) versus 5 (green)". Blue team sends the first two players in line around the end cone and through the goal to play the ball in the middle of the box, while the green team sends its first five players to do the same. The goal is to score on your opponent's goal - 1 point if the team with more players scores while the team with less players will receive 2 points for scoring. If the ball goes out of the rectangle, the play is dead and the next grouping is determined. Game is to 15 with the losing team making a full sprint to the corner flag before having their water break.

1 v 1 Battles
PURPOSE:
This drill is meant to increase confidence in taking on opposing players 1v1. Teams start at opposite corners of a 15x25m rectangle. Coach passes the ball into the middle of the rectangle where the next player for each team works to get to the ball first, make a move to beat the defender and score into one of two opposing mini goals opposite your team's starting point. Tally points with losing team having to make a full sprint to the corner flag before their water break.
