Hockey Box Conditioning Drills
Area: 10 metres x 10 metres (You can set up the one box to complete all 5 sets)
Alternate start L/R Corners
Clockwise & Anti Clockwise
Box 1
Outside Box forward running
Box 2 Outside Box: Forward run, side shuffle (keep feet apart, centre of gravity low, eyes looking forward) Backpedal, side shuffle.
Box 3 Figure of 8, run forward spin at the top cone (outside left) run forward spin at the bottom cone and spin (inside right)
Box 4 Arrow: Start at the bottom leg corner and out vand back to all three corners.
Box 5 Forward run, bear crawl, backpedal, side shuffle.
Duration: For each box complete 1x6 reps, rest 1/2 minutes between sets
Complete 5 Sets
Box 1 go off every 15 secs for each rep
Box 2 go off every 20 secs for each rep
Box 3 go off every 10 secs for each rep
Box 4 go off every 25 secs for each rep
Box 5 go off every 20 secs for each rep
