Passing practice (15 mins)

Method: Passing Practice (fitness component part of session). looking to create and replicate issue we had during our match. 

Starting Point is always central, Ball is either passed to either left or right double pivot ( Holding midfield Pivots). No:10's to drop off to open their body so they can play forward, once turned can you pass a through ball for the wing wing back through the two orange cones. Wing back timing of your run, take a couple of touch perform a turn and play back to wide defender of the 3, wide defender plays back to start and perform drill on the opposite side.


Procession Highlighted in Green, ball is set back to pivot who plays wide, everything else stays the same.

Players follow their pass, once one ball is started the next ball starts the other side, consistent moving practice 3min action 2min rest x3 Total 15 min 


Coaching Points:Looking to create and implement situations that occuried during the last game


  • can pivots drop of and open body shape to play forward 
  • Players to receive on the back foot to play forward, can you play back foot front foot 
  • Once turned can you play the ball through the gate with a good weight of pass 
  • Wide players (wing backs) can you time your run to arrive at the right time, not to early to so you stay on side.

Rondo 4:2 con 3 equipos

Descripción detallada del rondo: Rondo 4:2 con 3 equipos, cada vez que el equipo pierde el balón pasa a defender e intercambia posición con el equipo que estaba defendiendo en el centro.

Objetivos a lograr: En fase de posesión disfrutar del juego, mejorar el pase corto y el control orientado (utilizar las dos piernas y las diferentes superficies de contacto), dar continuidad al juego siempre que damos un pase y alternar juego corto con juego largo y potenciar la comunicación ofreciendo las líneas de pase a la vez que intentamos engañar y sorprender a los recuperadores.

Por otra parte, en la fase de recuperación deberemos amagar a los oponentes para recuperar el balón mediante fintas, no entrar de golpe, tapar el pie dominante y comunicar para tapar trayectorias de balón.

En este rondo a su vez trabajamos también el concepto de organización del equipo y de reorganización tras perdida o recuperación, debido a que ambos equipos deberán reaccionar rápidamente y adaptarse al nuevo paradigma que ofrece el rondo.


Nos focalizaremos en dos objetivos que serán los principales, por un lado tanto la comunicación tanto en ataque como en defensa y por otro lado mejorar el pase corto y el control orientado en ataque y no entrar de golpe y tapar el pie dominante en defensa.

Momento de la sesión en la que se aplican: Se aplicará el rondo en la parte inicial.

Tiempo destinado a dicho trabajo durante la sesión: 15 minutos

Cantidad de jugadores involucrados y puestos ocupados por estos en el terreno de juego: 6 jugadores, atacan lateral derecho, central derecho en azul, lateral iaquierdo y central izquierdo en negro y pivotes defensivos en rojo.

Aplicación de 2 variantes dentro de cada rondo: La primera será incorporar 1 jugador más por equipo y abrir la zona de trabajo, de forma que habrán más variantes y será más complicado jugar con el jugador libre.

Por otro lado, la segunda variante irá ligada a la primera, de forma que cuando se incorporen 1 jugador por equipo de forma que tengamos 9 jugadores permitiremos que el nuevo rondo simule un 4:3 + 2 comodines por dentro, de forma que uno de los jugadores de cada equipo atacante tendrá permitido participar por dentro en el rondo.

Pivot play

Session Organisation

  • 3v2 on the outside plus 1 CM in the middle
  • The 2 defenders can collapse into the central area to tackle once the ball has gone in there. 

Coaching Points

  • 1min First constraint - CM on minimum 4 touches (idea is to paint the picture that in central areas when you come under pressure, it's important to learn how to play quickly because staying on the ball for too long can lead to a loss of possession)
  • Second constraint - Play off a maximum of 3 touches, ideally 1 or 2.

Progression

  • Everyone plays off a maximum of 2 touches

T2D Exercise Game

Red team build up possession in the central area of the pithc
Every 4 passes, a blue player enters - 4v1, 4v2 , 4v3 etc etc
Once the ball is won by the blue team in the central area by one tow or three players, the rest of the blue team joins in.
The red team then have to T2D - Get narrow and compact, recovery runs, pressure on the ball early. and look to force the attacking team wide

4 Intervals of 2 Minutes

Instructions:

Play 4v4 Plus 2 with wide Neutral players

One attacking player can join each zone and one defensive player can recover from other zone 

Wide players have 3 touch max
