Organization:
Players have a partner and a ball - line up opposite from each other with a ball on top of a cone between them
Instructions:
Partners take turns striking ball, trying to knock over the ball on top of the cone - 1st team to __ pts wins
Coaching Points:
Technique of strikig with laces - angle of approach, point toe down, body over the ball, strike with big knuckle
Follow through the ball
Use plant foot and body position to aim
Lock the ankle
Progressions:
Can hit any ball in the middle - once all balls hit, team with the most pts wins
Must alternate foot used to strike ball

Organization:
Players are inside grid without ball
Two players are "it" with a ball
Instructions:
"It" players try to tag others by hitting them with the ball below the waist - must strike ball with laces
Once tagged, the player become "it" as well
If an "it" player misses a person with the ball, he/she must retrieve the same ball

Striking the ball while moving - stepping in front of ball, timing of pass

Players split into teams - in line across from a goal, one ball per team
Instructions:
Relay race - dribble toward goal, strike ball on goal (with laces), retrieve ball and return it to line

Must strike ball before reaching a given point in front of the goal
Must use weak foot
