Setup: Same organisation as Screen 1 but now a 3rd red is added to grid 2.
Play starts with GK passing to CB's or DM.
DM must stay in channel between grids but can move anywhere in the channel.
Blues score in either small goal at the end of Grid 2
Reds score in either small goal at the end of Grid 1.
No Blues allowed in Grid 1. 1 Red from Grid 2 can go and help win ball in Grid 1 if they want.
Coaching Points: Using coaching points from Screen 1 to keep possession in Grid 1.
Can we keep possession to draw red into Grid 1
Can we recognise when to break out of Grid 1 (overload in Grid 2).
* DM - Side on, checking shoulder for opponents and where team mates are.
* DM - Receieve side on, back foot to carry/pass into Grid 2
* DM - Screen to prevent Reds in Grid 2, passing into Grid 1.

Setup Play starts with GK - must pass out to CB's or DM
6 Blues + GK vs 5 Reds inside central part of pitch (shaded areas not used).
Reds score as normal in big goal - If win ball back in Defensive third and score = 5.
Blues score by passing into small goals.
Coaching Points: Use coaching points from screen 1 & 2.
CB split when GK or DM have ball. Narrow slightly if ball is in Midfield 3rd.
DM Link DEF & MID - Be a passing option for both units.

Setup 2 grids - 8x8, 10x10 adjust to suit age, ability.
Grid 1: 4 Blues v 2 Reds.
Blues stay outside grid but can move along there line.
Blues score by completing 8-10 passes (dependent on age/ability).
Reds score by winning ball = 1pt Scoring in one of the mini goals = 5 points.
Rotate Reds in Grid 1 every 1-2 mins
Coaching Points: GK - Pass selection - Sideways, Forwards. Awareness of Reds positions
- Pass quality, weight, accuracy. Pass towards back foot.
- Option - Create angle/show to receive back pass if necessary.
- Receiving - Awareness of Reds positions
- Body shape/position to receive - open to see all options in front.
- First touch - hold, first touch pass, touch out of feet, carry.
CB - Position - Drop slightly to create wide passing angle to split Reds
- Shape - Open to see everyones position & receive pass
- Receive - First touch to protect, out of feet, pass, travel (reds position)
- Pass selection - Forwards, Sideways, Back (reds position)
- Pass Quality - Weight, accuracy, to back foot
- Support - Move to create angle to be a passing option. Move as ball
is travelling, get into position early.
DM - Position - If GK has ball stay central to force reds to stay narrow so CB's can
receive.
- CB's have ball, move to create passing angle or to move reds to
reds to create different passing option
Pass Quality - To feet, accuracy, weight
Support - Once passed, move along line to receive back if needed
Progression: Limit Blues touches to 2-3
If Reds win ball, allow one Blue player to enter grid to play 2v1.
Grid 2: 3 Blues v 2 Reds
Blues and Reds play inside grid.
Blues score by completing 5 passes. Reds score in mini goals.
