Due to Long-Weekend and no Scheduled League Games we advice playing games/small sided games this week.
Coaches please connect with each other in regards to what you want to do for the session. Try and keep setup time to a minimal, to get players into games asap. At oversight locations, we can provide extra small nets if that is needed for setup.
We are aware teams may be playing in tournament events on the weekend, if that is the case for you, you can stay with normal training session in prep if you want.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Scrimmages can be played in two different ways:
1) In Team
For Div3 teams, I advice just staying in your own teams and playing against other teams.
2) Mixed Teams
For Performance teams or when you have odd number teams, I advice mixing teams up into new teams to help balance games.
Look to form 4 teams, and then play 3 games of around 15-20min, so that everyone plays everyone like a mini league.
Format can be anything anything from 5vs5 to 9vs9 and use a goalkeeper and bigger nets.

Jamboree/World Cup
Jamboree Setup can be done in two ways:
1) Full Mix
This can be a easy way of setting teams up, it can help balance teams, by adding some players from different performance teams onto different teams.
2) Team Divide
This is the easiest way for teams to be easily organized. A coach just divides his own team into two teams, balancing them on his knowledge of the players ability.
Format can be done in various ways:
Round Robin
Some teams stay in location and other teams rotate around playing a different team every time.
Group Stage and Knock-Out
Divide teams into 2 groups of 4 teams each, every team plays the other teams in their group. After the group games, teams play across with the other group based on standings from group games, 1vs1, 2vs2 etc.
Teams and Game Durations
Teams should be around 3 to 5 players big, it can be bigger, but then teams should have a sub. Games should be small sided format with no Goalkeepers and with Small Goals.
Pending on the format decided on, games will be around 8-10min long, to get 5 games in over the hour.
