Method:
- Ball each. Dribbling around the area. Using all parts of the foot (6 parts).
- Coach calls different tasks; toe taps, in between feet, turn, stop etc.
- Give the actions a number. e.g. Toe taps = 1, in between feet = 2, drag back with studs = 3, Leave ball and run to outside of grid, come back and get a different ball = 4.
Coaching Points:
- Can the player use all parts of the boot to control ball.
- Use studs to stop ball quickly on the call.
- Different types of turn - Cruyff, drag back, step overs etc.
- Player must get their head up, so they don't bang into other players.

Method:
- Working in 2's
- Different passing exercises including; two touch, shifting ball past cone, control one foot pass back with other
- Shifting ball with outside of foot past cone
Coaching Points:
- Good weight & accuracy of pass
- Can player shift ball past cone with just one controlled touch
- Looking for players to use back foot for control
- Change to shifting with the outside of the foot
- Change to shifting with the players studs
- Changing direct, changing what foot they pass with

Method:
Player passes, then moves to the free cone
Progression: Player plays 1 - 2, then passes to a different player. E.g. A pass to B then lay off to C, then move to spare cone
Coaching Points:
- Scan the area constantly so they know where the spare cone is
- Communication - Verbal: calling player's name Nonverbal: use hands to show where they want ball passed to
- Verbal & nonverbal communication - use hand to show player where you want to receive the ball
- Good weight of pass, using inside of foot. Good control. Open body shape

Method:
- 3 v 3 - other players are doing shooting drill with GK
- Players can score in either goal
- Pitch can be made as big as you like! Bigger pitch can encourage dribbling and 1v1 situations
Coaching Points:
- Player receiving ball - can they move into good passing areas
- Keep the ball on the ground
- Can players make triangles/diamonds
- Player on the ball must scan
- Good communication - verbal & non verbal
