Organisation
Half a pitch set up as shown.
Pitch divided in half with flat markers.
How to Play
The Grey MF players play the ball around, one of the wide MF players can play into a forward (the Red WB on that side allows the pass).
Forward receiving should hold the ball for a couple of seconds, then play back into MF.
Repeat the sequence.
Possible Coaching Points
Back 3 constantly adjust their position in relation to the ball.
Speed of travel when the ball is played into the forward.
Mark ball side and goal side.
Other CBs provide cover and balance and the "weak side" Wing Back tucks in to provide security.
Progression
The central midfield players can play the ball into the forwards.
When this happens both WB should narrow off to provide security.

Organisation
Set up as previously.
Only the wide MF players can play into the strikers.
How to Play
Because the Wing Backs are in a good position to start with, they can press the wide midfield players.
If the ball is switched, all players need to adjust their positions.
Progression
The Grey CM can play into the strikers.
Any Grey can play into the strikers.

How to Play
The Grey MF players keep the ball until one decides to play in to a striker.
Once the ball goes into a striker, 2 more Grey players can join in and have 10 seconds to score.
The Reds defend as realistically as possible and if they win the ball try to play to one of the 2 that didn't join in.
Possible Coaching Points
Movement and communication.
Close down quickly.
Appropriate marking, cover and balance.
Fast forward passes when the ball is recovered.
