Player A starts the game by passing to Player B
Player A becomes the defender and B the attacker
Player A must stop Player B from reaching the red or yellow cone, this is decided by the coach who will call a colour.
The game is restarted by the attacker passing to player A, who is now is Player B's position.
Coaching Points
* Defender body shape - facing ball/attacker
* defending position - high/low - arms out/in
* Attackers with skills / speed
Start with shadow defending (no tackles)
Progress to standing firm (only 1 attempt to put foot in)
then onto full defending
Progress to no coach commands - attacker attacks either coloured cone.
