Pressing in the Attacking 3rd
Blue team starts in a build out situation. On the first pass the red player looks to press to win/disrupt the play. If the red player is able to steal they can transition to the small goal, the blue team is lookin to successfully break the press and score in the mini goal. Play 3 minutes then switch the two defenders each time.

Team in possession look to break out in a 4v2 situation and score in the mini goals. The defenders look to disrupt the play and if possible score in the big goal. The team that possess the ball get 2 points for every goal they score, but if they lose possession of the ball (kick it out of bounds, turn over due to disruption) they are deducted 1 point.

Pressing to Disrupt
Players are split into three teams. Each team numbers themselves 1-4. On the coaches number, the player that is called must immediately run to press in the box. The first two teams that manage to win the ball or force the team in possession to turn the ball over get 1 point. Play for 4 minutes before starting to add in progressions.
Coaching Points
- Players that are pressing - are you fully committing to your press?
- Show me how you should be approaching your press? Body shape, speed of approach?
- If you cant win it straight away, what kind of passes should you look to force the team in possession to play?
