  • Can you keep your head up when running with the ball?
  • Can you hide the ball?
  • Can you keep the ball?
  • Can you use both feet when running with the ball?

101 Dalmatians (15 mins)

Set Up: 

  • Players with 1 ball each.
  • Field size 25 (L) x 25 (W).
  • 5 triangles of markers.

Action: 

  • Players are to dribble around area while the Coach chases players to try and retrieve ball.
  • Players aim to stop ball in triangle which is safe zone and earn 1 point.
  • Don't leave ball behind or inside triangle.
  • Aim is for players to stop the ball 101 times in the triangle in the shortest time.
Variation/Progressions
  • The time of sets or size of the area can be adjusted to suit the needs and abilities of the players.

Player Tips: 

  • As Above.

Coaching Points:

  • Correct running/dribbling with the ball technique.
  • Control the ball.
  • Heads Up.
  • Save those puppies.

Session Timing:

  • Complete 2-3 sets if possible with a 1 minute rest in between sets.
