Handball Game - Roboman (15 mins)

Objective - basic handling -catching - throwing, coordination, understanding distances-angles, calling for the ball

Organization - Area 40 L by 25 wide with target zone or goal at either side, two teams of 4-6 players, cones to mark out zones, balls, 2 goals.

No running - only speed walking - like "Roboman). Coach can set a time limit for each player and count down 3-2-1, if a player drops the ball he gives it to a oppnent in the zone next to theirs or the ball starts with the GK of the team who won the ball.

1) ball is thown and caught between players to get the ball in the hands of the opposite target (GK)

2) point for a certain amount of passes to encourage team play

3) point to throw the ball into the goal

4) Score with a self volley or off a volley from a throw

5) U13+ can score with heading to score or to a teammate to catch (3rd man)

Variation - create numbers up and down situations on each zone
